Former Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge says he enjoyed playing for manager Jurgen Klopp.
Sturridge remains a free agent after being released early from his Trabzonspor contract in March 2020.
He told the High Performance Podcast: “Jurgen as well. I have to give Jurgen a mention.
"Jurgen was a great manager, he's different to all the others, and I didn't play as much under him, but I learnt a lot and we had a very good relationship, especially towards the end.
"That last season the relationship I had with Jurgen was unbelievable and I've got nothing but love and respect for him, not only for what he's achieved at Liverpool, but for the relationship we have today."
