Ex-Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge targets MLS move - for music

Former Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge is open to continuing his career in the US.

Sturridge has been without a club since his contract with Trabzonspor was terminated by mutual consent in March.

He was suspended from all football-related activity worldwide until the middle of June for breaching betting rules, but is now free to find another club.

And, having been linked with a move to MLS sides Inter Miami and DC United in May, it appears a move to the US could be on the cards as Sturridge considers the next step in his career when he hangs up his boots.

It is in the US that he dreams of developing his music label, reports L'Equipe.

Sturridge established his own music label, Dudley Road Records, in the UK back in 2017 and could expand it further by moving across the Atlantic.
