Former Liverpool striker Stan Collymore insists Everton are up for sale at £125 million.

He wrote in the People: "I am still sticking by what I said last week on the radio about Everton's value being about £125million - it came from the club after all! I had thousands of Evertonians quizzing me about their club and was contacted by a Goodison Park official who gave me the figure when I asked for a ballpark valuation.

"Everton owner Bill Kenwright - who I have always got on well with - is upset, but all I will say is, don't shoot the messenger. The info came from the club!"
