Ex-Liverpool, Marseille striker Cisse: It would be 'cool' to play MLS

Djibril Cisse is pondering a possible future move to Major League Soccer.

The 33-year old striker, currently with French club Bastia, told France Football that he is open to the possibility of moving to the USA and Canada's top flight.

"As long as I can play, enjoy it, contribute my experience, help the youngsters and older players, I'm happy," said Cisse.

"Clubs still think of me. There are a lot of offers from the USA. India too. I have two or three things in Poland and some which are a little funky, but the USA would be cool."

Cisse has had a brilliant yet injury-prone career in Europe with such clubs as Auxerre, Liverpool, Marseille, Sunderland, Panathinaikos, Lazio, QPR and Kuban Krasnodar.

During his time in the Premier League, former France international Cisse scored 32 goals in 110 appearances and has also netted close to 100 goals in France's Ligue 1 over his career.
