Former Liverpool goalkeeper Chris Kirkland believes Loris Karius needs to face Chelsea.
Speaking to Neil Mellor on this week's 5Times Podcast, Kirkland says Leicester's goal came after Mignolet took an unnecessary risk by trying to play out from the back and against a side like Leicester it was inevitable the Reds would be punished.
“There's so much made now about playing out from the back, which I understand," Kirkland says, “But there's times to do it and the time to pass the ball along your own byline, that's not the time to do it.
“I don't care if you're four, five-nil up, whatever, it's taking unnecessary risks and you might get away with it a few times but you're always going to get caught with it."
Should Karius start against Chelsea tomorrow night? “I would have thrown him in on Saturday.
“If he's been brought in as No.1 and he's training and he's ready then throw him in."
