Jon Flanagan has already made his debut for HB Koge.
The former Liverpool defender joined the Danes last week after answering a call from former Reds teammate and Koge coach Dan Agger.
Flanagan played an hour in Friday's friendly against Helsingor and said: "It was my first match in a while, but I got 60 minutes in my legs and my form is well on its way.
"It felt really good to be on the field after such a long time. Today, for me, it was about getting back on the field and playing. I was going to go in and have the sharpness of my game back.
"I got 60 minutes and it felt good and it only gets better from here. Now I have to build even more before the first match of the season next week, and I will probably be completely ready for that match."
