Former Liverpool assistant coach Zeljko Buvac is being linked with the Fenerbahce job.

Fener coach Philip Cocu is under pressure after a dismal start to the season and is fighting to keep hold of his job.

Buvac is a candidate for the post, along with former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.

Buvac is still on the books at Liverpool, but has been removed from his past assistant's role after stepping away from the club in the final weeks of last season.

At Fener, former Liverpool technical director Damien Comolli is now in charge.
