Former Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson is in the frame for a return to Middlesbrough.
The Leicester Mercury says Pearson is in the running for the Middlesbrough manager's job.
The former Leicester boss is 14/1 with SkyBet to be the next Boro manager following the departure of Tony Pulis on Friday morning.
Pulis will leave the Riverside Stadium club once his contract expires this summer.
He replaced Garry Monk on an 18-month-deal in December 2017.
