Robbie Rogers is on the verge of returning to MLS following his failed stint in the UK.
The 25-year old has had his contract with Leeds United mutually terminated, opening the door for a potential Columbus Crew return.
"Robbie and Leeds United have mutually agreed to terminate his contract. As of now, Robbie is considering other opportunities," read an email the Columbus Dispatch received from Rogers' agent Shaun Higgins.
The Crew retained Rogers' MLS rights when he left for Elland Road in January 2012 and it has been suggested that he could be back in Ohio in 2013.
