Former Lazio president Sergio Cragnotti believes coach Maurizio Sarri's reputation is on the line this season.
Cragnotti says Sarri needs to prove himself.
He explained to Il Messaggero: "The signing of Sarri was a good move to bring another mentality.
"In Italy he has not shown anything yet. With Juve a triumph for nine years, it is easy to hit the Scudetto. At the helm of medium-sized teams, talent really emerges.
"Even in Naples in the end he had great players and did not win, although he came close.
"With Lazio he must demonstrate his value and his abilities, in the second year his image is at stake and his role."
