Former Barcelona academy chief Albert Puig Ortoneda is convinced Ansu Fati has the potential to be the best player in the world.
Puig discovered Fati as a junior talent and is backing him for big things. He also has high expectations for midfielder Ilaix Moriba.
On Fati, he told Sport: "I hope for the maximum. We are talking about a player who has everything to become one of the best in the world.
"He already is, but obviously he has to train and evolve much more. No one has the magic wand to say if he can do it, but he has all the potential to be a benchmark for years to come."
On Ilaix, Puig continued: "Ilaix is more of a midfield player, with more game and team control and Ansu is a pure talent in terms of imagination and vertical and electric football.
"They are two different players with a high level. Both of them stood out a lot in their age groups, but not using their physical appearance but making use of their technical and tactical aspect. This is what have you here."
