Former Juventus striker David Trezeguet is delighted with his shock move to Hercules.

Trezeguet turned down some of Europe's biggest clubs to move to the Alicante minnows.

"We're a good team, a stunning group, wanting to do things good," said Trezeguet at his presentation in front of over 1,000 Hercules fans.

"I came to win with this team and I think there is a squad here to do a good job in this league and we can only demonstrate this on the field of play.

"I scored over 250 goals in France and Italy and want to show my qualities here and that I can score. Much depends on the team and I am happy because I see a great team here."
