Former Juventus GM Jean-Claude Blanc has moved to INEOS.

Blanc leaves PSG as executive director to take charge of all INEOS' sports properties, including Nice.

It was announced this morning:

"INEOS announces that Jean-Claude Blanc will join his management team as CEO (Chief Executive Officer) of INEOS Sport, from February 2023. In his role, Jean-Claude Blanc will supervise the entire INEOS sports portfolio, which covers football, Formula 1, sailing, cycling, rugby and running.

"In this context, he will work in close collaboration with Dave Brailsford who will focus on very high level performance management. Responsibility for execution and management in sports activities remains the responsibility of the management of each sports team.

"Jean-Claude Blanc will be responsible for the development of advanced facilities dedicated to each of the teams owned by INEOS, the development of their business plan and the growth of their world brands, as well as their development within an integrated international sports group."

Sir Jim Ratcliffe, president of INEOS, said: "I am delighted to welcome Jean-Claude as CEO of INEOS Sport, with his many years of experience in different sports. We have great ambitions for all our sports teams with a particular ambition to raise our standards in football and Jean-Claude will bring his entrepreneurial and innovative flair to all our teams."

For his part, Blanc said: "I am very honoured and proud to join Jim Ratcliffe and his impressive management team within INEOS.
