Former Juventus goalkeeper Michelangelo Rampulla has urged Maurizio Sarri to settle on a permanent position for Federico Bernardeschi.
Sarri admits the midfielder needs a run of games to reach his potential and Rampulla has urged the Juve boss to make good on his comments.
After Juve's victory over Bologna, he said: "Bernardeschi? Important player, but it is difficult for him to play 20 minutes every now and then. The role of the coach in these cases is fundamental, it is up to Sarri to put the players in the right role and not in non-ideal positions."
Rampulla continued: "Winning is always a good message, but there is regret for having lost a trophy and the spirit of revenge has affected yesterday's good performance.
"The preparation? It may have affected the 3-month stop, due to an exceptional fact that has led to serious consequences also on a mental level. But people of this calibre, even if they stay still, do not lose their athletic condition."
