Ex-Juventus defender Barzagli admits he may not return to coaching

Former Juventus defender Andrea Barzagli admits he may not return to coaching.

Barzagli retired in 2019 and worked as one of Maurizio Sarri's assistants in the first part of the 2019-20 campaign.

“Some players wants to remain involved in the game becoming coaches or directors, I'm fine. I'm a little vicious and I like wine," the former defender told Juventus' Twitch channel.

"Sometimes I play padel, I go running and I serve as taxi driver to bring my children back and forth."

On coach Andrea Pirlo, Barzagli added: "Andrea is perhaps the most envied coach by football fans and professionals. We've met occasionally in Turin and I saw him very convinced of wanting to be a coach."
