Ex-Juventus boss Allegri admits Premier League move hopes

Former Juventus and AC Milan coach Max Allegri admits he favours a move to the Premier League.

Allegri has been mentioned as a candidate to succeed Zinedine Zidane at Real Madrid.

However, the Italian told The Times: "I would like to experience the Premier League. In Italy I was in Milan for four years. Five years at Juventus. Now I expect (to work again) in Italy, but it is difficult, or in England.

"I think English football is improving because there are many foreign coaches. There are more tactics compared to ten years ago. England is now more sophisticated and more tactical, but also respects the tradition of English football.

"There is a good balance between the spirit of English football and the new coaches' new quality and new tactical approaches. The important thing is that each country has its own history. England is different from Italy, which is different from Spain, from Germany. It is difficult to change the country's history."

Allegri has been linked with Manchester United, Newcastle United and Arsenal this year.
