Former Inter Milan president Ernesto Pellegrini believes Silvio Berlusconi faces a tough battle lifting Monza from Serie C.

The ex-AC Milan owner bought Monza last month.

Pellegrini told RMC: "I have not heard from him yet, so I do not have my opinion.

"Monza is an expression of this area. It will be fun, however, he must be wary because it is not easy to bring a team from C to A as I think is in Berlusconi's plan.

"He will need to invest a lot and with his money he does what he wants.

"Has he made me want to go back? No. I have a company with over 8,000 employees and I have a lot to do, I always go to the stadium to see my Inter."
