Former Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti admits he would hire Luciano Spalletti over Jose Mourinho if he was in charge today.

Despite a close relationship with Roma coach Mourinho, Moratti says Napoli boss Spalletti would be the better option.

He told Radio Kiss Kiss: "For esteem and knowledge Mourinho would always remain security for me.

"In a novelty aspect I would take Spalletti for which I have a great respect who would surely do well.

"If I were president of Inter, I would always choose Spalletti."
