Former Inter Milan coach Jose Mourinho believes Mario Balotelli has his career back on track.

Balotelli has impressed at Olympique Marseille after his January move from Nice.

“He could be better than what he is," ex-Manchester United manager Mourinho told RMC Sport.

“I recently told the same thing to one of my players, and he replied: 'You're right, but I love being who I am'.

“Some players have this mentality, they like to be what they are. Sometimes it's also the case because those around them don't help them, but I really love Mario.

“He could've been better, but he's good as he is. He won titles in England and Italy, won the Champions League and he'll get better in the future because he's a captivating player."
