Released Hull City veteran Dean Windass is joining Darlington.
Windass has agreed to join League Two side Darlington as assistant manager.
A year after scoring the goal which took the Tigers in to the Barclays Premier League, the 40-year-old frontman is moving on from the KC Stadium after an unhappy final season with his home-town club.
Windass is teaming up with his former Bradford City boss Colin Todd, who agreed to join the Quakers last month, and he is expected to officially take a player-coaching role when Todd returns from a break later this month.
