Canada international Julian de Guzman has joined Greek club Skoda Xanthi.
The 32-year old former Hannover, Deportivo La Coruna and Toronto FC midfielder has joined Xanthi on a free transfer after departing German 2.Bundesliga outfit Jahn Regensburg recently.
de Guzman, who has also played with FC Saarbrucken and FC Dallas during his career, was close to joining Polish outfit Wisla Krakow earlier this summer but will now head to Thrace in northeastern Greece for the upcoming Super League season.
