Former Ghana defender Mohammed Gargo says Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey should move to Arsenal.

Arsenal are in talks with Atletico for Partey, with the Gunners being referred to his €50m buyout clause.

Gargo, formerly of Udinese, tol Joy FM: “I think he should move. I think he will make him a more alive player than he is today.

"Who would want to go from a level two to a level three, being able to go to a higher level? Moving to Arsenal will give him another chance to step up, strengthen him and make him a better player for the Black Stars (Ghana national team ).

"So, if I were him, I would choose that offer."
