Lawrie Sanchez is keen on a return to Reading.

Sanchez, the former Northern Ireland and Fulham manager, has declared an interest in the position at Reading, which became vacant when Brendan Rodgers departed by "mutual consent" on Wednesday.

Sanchez, a former Reading player who lives near the Madejski Stadium, said: "Getting the job would be a dream come true for me. It would be a fantastic honour."
