Former Fulham boss Rene Meulensteen believes they've pulled off a coup signing Jean Michel Seri.

The midfielder joined the Cottagers last month from Nice.

"Seri is an absolute steal, I think," said former Manchester United assistant coach Meulensteen.

"He is a player for a club in the top six, maybe even in the top three. He reminds me of Clarence Seedorf. He has a certain innocence in how he lets the ball go.

"And that Fulham just has him, it is fantastic."
