Former France fullback Eric di Meco is backing a mooted move for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.
PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi and sporting director Leonardo are both in contact with a receptive Pogba about a move to Paris this summer.
For Di Meco, such a transfer makes sense. He told RMC: "Pogba has big ambitions. He is world champion, he played for Juventus, he plays for Manchester United. Finally, he was unable to fight with the greats of Europe in the Champions League. While PSG, yes.
"Pogba must join a team capable of winning the C1. Real is complicated with the departure of Zidane, and without too many resources. Barça, the same. There remains Bayern, Man City and Paris. If other doors open for Pogba, it will be MU level clubs. But no! He must go to a team capable of winning the Champions.
"Where, apart from Paris, do you want him to go? It's time for him to go."
