Former Everton striker Kevin Campbell believes James Rodriguez's arrival will lift the game of Richarlison.

Indeed, Campbell believes Richarlison would reject a move to Barcelona because of the quality of the players currently joining Everton.

He told GentingBet: “Richarlison is going nowhere. I have no worries that Richarlison is heading to Barcelona – they are on a different tangent now.

“When you see the quality of players coming into the club, he'll be rubbing his hands and thinking, now we have a team.

“A lot of the work he used to have to do going backwards, he's not going to have to do now.

“Also, there are a lot of problems going on at Barcelona at the moment and he's not going to want any part of that. So, I don't see him going anywhere."
