Former Everton and Oldham Athletic midfielder Jose Baxter has taken to LinkedIn to find himself a new club.

After a season with Oldham, the forward joined Plymouth Argyle on a short-team deal in the summer but is now searching for a fresh challenge after his contract was mutually terminated.

On LinkedIn, Baxter wrote: "Aged 27. Can play number 10, number 9, number 8, number 6.

"Experience in under-16, under-17 football. Premier League, Europa League, League One, League Two. On a free in January and open to offers abroad. Message me if interested."

Baxter returned to Everton in 2017 and signed a 12-month deal to play and work with the club's U23s before returning to Boundary Park.
