Ex-Everton boss Allardyce open to West Brom approach

Former England manager Sam Allardyce is willing to consider an approach from West Bromwich Albion.

While there is no indication the Championship side would like to appoint Allardyce, the former Everton and Bolton boss would be interested.

According to the Express and Star, Allardyce has seen his odds to get the West Brom job cut short in recent days.

And he said to talkSPORT on the matter: "It's a question of whether the club contact me personally or my agent and say what the position is, what they want me to do and what they expect me to do and what I think I'm capable of doing for West Brom if it gets to that stage.

"If everybody's comfortable with that then it may be a possibility."
