Former Crystal Palace striker Clinton Morrison has paid tribute to Liverpool veteran James Milner.

Snapped up on a Bosman-style free transfer from Manchester City in 2015, the versatile Leeds-born ace turns 35 in January.

Morrison told BBC Sport: "James Milner is the best professional I've ever seen out there – not necessarily in terms of football just how professional he is.

"How he looks after himself, he's probably the first on the training pitch and last to leave.

"He's just a testament to himself that he's managed to play at this level for such a long time."
