Former Crystal Palace star Ian Wright says he may return to the club in a bid to help them get back to their former glory.
The Londoners are struggling financially and are in the Championship relegation zone and there are whispers that former leaders of the club are considering returning to Selhurst Park. Wright says if that is the case, he would highly consider it himself.
"I hear (former owner )Ron (Noandes) is thinking about getting involved again and so is Steve Coppell," he told The Sun TV.
"What Palace need is people who love the club and people the fans can trust.
"The fans have been left in the wilderness by the people who are running Palace - and now look where they are.
"I don't think the supporters realise how much Ron has done for the club, or how much he loves it.
"The fact he wants to go back in again to help out in some capacity with Steve is good news, very good news.
"I do love Palace, it's the place where it happened for me.
"Palace need the kind of set-up where young players can be looked after until they move on to bigger things.
"If I can be part of that, then it's something I'd have to consider."
