Ex-Chelsea striker Werner breaks RB Leipzig goals record

Former Chelsea striker Timo Werner scored a landmark goal for RB Leipzig yesterday.

On Saturday, Werner scored two goals in Leipzig's 4-0 win over Bochum, making him the first in history to reach 100 goals for the club.

Werner, with his double on Saturday, has recorded for 101 goals and 43 assists in 169 games for Leipzig, who brought him back from Chelsea before this season.

For Premier League club Chelsea, he scored 23 goals and produced 21 assists in 89 games.
