Former Chelsea striker Chris Sutton has slammed Jack Grealish after the Aston Villa midfielder's latest off the field controversy.

Writing for the Daily Mail, Sutton stated: "How many chances does Jack Grealish need? He has been caught making a mistake again and is in danger of throwing his career away. He's turning into a waster.

"Everybody makes mistakes — and of course young people are going to go out and let their hair down — but the fact that he isn't learning from his errors shows how little respect he has for his team-mates and manager.

"Grealish is an exceptional talent, but after bursting on to the scene in 2015 he hasn't progressed as quickly as he should have done.

"Something has to trigger in his brain at some stage, otherwise he could drop out of sight completely. "
