Former Chelsea defender Marcel Desailly says he is now ready to take up a position of management with Ghanaian football.
The 42-year old Ghana-born former France international was part of a five-man shortlist for the Black Stars vacant manager's role late last year but withdrew to concentrate on building his sports facility in East Legon.
But now that is finished, Desailly is looking to get involved with the Ghana national team in some aspect.
"I want to be a bit more part of the administration part," he said on E TV. "You see when you give me a target... I wanted to be a soccer player; I think I have done something okay for my football career.
"I wanted to set up this project; I have finished it and next is administration, management and marketing. Probably I could have a role in Ghana football in that aspect but let's be patient.
"We are now trying to see and find out where Marcel Desailly today can be of help for Ghana football."
