Former Chelsea star Craig Burley believes that Frank Lampard will face the same problems as Ole Gunnar Solskjær at Manchester United.
The Norwegian enjoyed a good start to life at United, but things fell apart towards the back end of the season.
And Burley feels that Lampard will have a very tough time with Chelsea, given his lack of managerial experience.
"This will work for work for a certain period in terms of knitting together and appeasing fans," Burley told talkSPORT.
"But ultimately, same as Manchester United and Solskjaer and anybody who brings in a former player with little experience, it's going to come down to the results.
"If you're going to Stamford Bridge next season and Chelsea lose five or six on the bounce – and I'm not suggesting that could happen but it could.
"Then the fans are going to turn."
