Former Chelsea midfielder Charlie Colkett is taking a break from Ostersunds.

Tied to Ostersunds until 2022, it's been confirmed Colkett will spend some time at home in England, where he will train with local clubs.

Ostersunds chief Michael Schahine said, "There are things that are more important than football sometimes, and we have seen that this is the best solution for both us and Charlie. He is feeling well and is in his best shape, and we see that he will return to football when the time is right."

Colkett, meanwhile, said: "I feel good and will continue my training in England. I look forward to coming back stronger than ever."
