Former Chelsea goalkeeper Ross Turnbull has joined Doncaster Rovers.

The 28-year old has signed a one-year deal with the promoted Championship club after he was released from his Blues deal at the end of last season.

Turnbull heads to the Keepmoat after starting his career with Middlesbrough in 2002 and taking in loan spells at Darlington, Barnsley, Bradford City, Crewe Alexandra and Cardiff City.
