Ex-Chelsea keeper Caballero: Tuchel urged players to maintain belief

Former Chelsea goalkeeper Willy Caballero has sung the praises of manager Thomas Tuchel.

The Argentine hailed the German's man-management skills in the last six months of the season.

"I think a lot of the guys didn't expect the season to end in such a big success," he told Goal. "At the start of the journey, we weren't so strong.

"Tuchel was always optimistic, positive and his explanations to every player was perfect."

The 39-year-old also praised the German's backroom staff who helped the manager keep a good atmosphere in the changing room.

"He also has a very good group of staff," he added. "His staff work very well, and they are close with the players and talking with them.

"The players were happy going to training and this can be difficult in a big club."
