Ex-Chelsea chief Kenyon working with Capello on endorsement contracts

Former Chelsea and Manchester United chief Peter Kenyon is working with England coach Fabio Capello.

The Daily Mail says Capello is being advised on commercial interests outside his £6million-a-year job by Kenyon.

Kenyon heads the European operation of Hollywood sports and entertainment giants Creative Artists Agency, where Capello has joined clients including David Beckham, Jose Mourinho and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Capello's relationship with CAA started before the World Cup, when Kenyon had a meeting with former FA chief executive Ian Watmore and Fabio's lawyer son Pierfilippo, who wanted to channel the numerous commercial approaches to his father through one representative.

Kenyon is understood to have liaised with the FA to ensure they have no objection to any endorsement offers Capello might accept.
