Ex-Chelsea, Celtic whizkid Feruz ditches football for fashion career

Former Chelsea and Celtic wonderkid Islam Feruz is quitting football to design hats!

The 24-year-old has given up the sport that he grew up playing to pursue his fashion career.

He is designing a line of caps that has a "Tajiri" logo, which means "rich" in Swahili.

The former player, who also appeared for Hibernian in Scotland, has been posting about his new venture on social media.

The Somali-born star has courted controversy in the past, as he was sacked by Chelsea in 2012 when he was pictured with a friend and a woman in bed while wearing his Scotland under-21 shirt.

He also got an 18-month driving ban in Glasgow for speeding.
