The ex-Blues coach may believe that a move away from England would let him rebuild his career in a less pressurized environment.

Nice owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe wants to hire an English speaker as manager, with Potter ticking all the boxes.

Nice believe that Potter can help push them up the table, as he did at Brighton before going to Chelsea.
