Ex-Celtic star Nakamura nets as Yokohama cruise to J-League win

Former Espanyol and Celtic star midfielder Shunsuke Nakamura was on target as Yokohama F. Marinos eased to a 3-0 win in the J-League.

The former Japan international scored his side's second goal in the 71st minute to help them to a 3-0 win over Albirex Niigata at home which moved them up to seventh on the table.

In other Japanese league matches, Nagoya Grampus maintained their five point lead at the top of the table with a 1-0 home defeat of Kyoto Sanga, Cerezo Osaka stayed in second with a 2-0 win over ten man Omiya Ardija, Shimzu S-Pulse jumped to third with a 2-0 home win over Kawasaki Frontale, Gamba Osaka won 2-0 against Jubilo Iwata, Vegalta Sendai grabbed a 2-1 victory over Shonan Bellmare as did Sanfrecce Hiroshima over Montedio Yamagata, Urawa Reds had a 1-1 draw with Kashima Antlers and Vissel Kove and Tokyo FC played out a scoreless draw.
