Toronto FC striker Robert Earnshaw has implored the team to sharpen up as quickly as possible before the MLS season gets away from them.
The Canadian outfit lost 2-0 to New England Revolution on the weekend, making it five losses in a row, and leaving the side without a win since early March.
Earnshaw has urged Toronto to arrest that run of outs as soon as they can so can swiftly move up the Eastern Conference table.
"Our standards need to be raised from what they have been over the last several weeks," Earnshaw said.
"We need to improve very, very quickly. Next week you will see a very different team because we can't put out what we did today. There has definitely got to be improvement and there will be."
TFC take on fifth-placed Philadelphia Union in their 13th MLS outing of the campaign this weekend.
