Ex-Brighton manager Hughton: If I had a choice I'd still be working

Chris Hughton says he would love to be working during the 2019/20 season.

The Englishman was sacked the day after keeping Brighton in the Premier League at the end of last term.

He said: "It is always difficult adjusting because you are doing something you haven't done for four-and-a-half years and, of course, for periods before that.

"In between jobs, I have had short breaks. It is something you don't want to happen.

"If I had a choice, then I would still be working. What you have to do is make the most if it.

"I'm someone who generally has not found it too difficult to keep busy .

"I think you sometimes have to go outside your comfort zone and this is a really good opportunity to watch a lot of games."
