Free agent Danny Shittu admits making the right choice of club to join is vital as he looks to get his career back on track. Shittu is believed to be considering a number of options as he looks for a new club after leaving Bolton earlier this month.
Celtic have been credited with an interest in the powerful defender, while a number of clubs in England, France and the Middle East are thought to be tracking the Nigerian international.
"I am still looking at my options as to where I will resume my playing career," Shittu told skysports.com.
"I want to take my time on my decision as this is such a big thing for my future.
"It has to be the right move for me so that I am playing regularly again and I believe I still have a lot to offer to the right club.
"I am feeling extremely fit and have been training every day to maintain my fitness.
"I believe I had a good World Cup with Nigeria and I just want to make sure I find the right club to continue my career."
