Ex-Benfica coach Vitoria: Nothing impossible; this is how Liverpool can be beaten

Former Benfica coach Rui Vitoria insists they're capable of upsetting Liverpool tonight.

Benfica go to Anfield needing to overturn a 3-1 deficit to reach the Champions League semifinals.

Vitoria told O Jogo: "It will be very difficult for Benfica to win this game. The result was not good in the first leg, but in football nothing is impossible. If Liverpool does not pay attention to some details at this level of competition, there'll be problems.

"At this high level of football, all teams can create problems. I believe it will be very difficult for Benfica, but in football at a high level, nothing is impossible.

"Obviously at this level the coaches know everything about the teams, but I believe that Benfica can play on the counterattack and create difficulties for Liverpool.

"I saw that Liverpool have difficulties when they lose the ball, in sometimes players are not completely focused. If Benfica uses these moments, it could create problems. Talking is one thing, [doing it] in the game is quite difficult. But we saw that when Benfica used these moments in transition, in the first leg, it was good. With this solution, you can create problems."
