Former Barcelona sports chief Eric Abidal believes Lionel Messi will have a positive impact on PSG's players.

Abidal played with Messi and also worked with him while sporting director at Barca.

He told Canal+: "He will bring his experience. And as he said: every year he changes his game. It's true that he's not the same Messi as when he started. And I think the players around him are adapting, raising their level of play.
