Former Atletico Madrid assistant coach German Burgos has commented on Barcelona's slide this season.

Burgos believes Barca have struggled since Luis Suarez's departure for Atletico.

He told Infobae: “That Luis Suárez has left has already moved everything.

"Things are happening there. This is what I just said about the table legs. There's one of those legs that is not there.

"From one day to the next they tell Suárez that they don't want him. It's complicated like that.

“They will fight to the end, but they are suffering. Likewise, Lionel (Messi) is taking it with nobility and honour because it is his home. As a kid he was there.

"For him it is Argentina and Barcelona. Many say he's going to leave, but I don't think he's going to leave Barça."
