Former Aston Villa assistant manager John Terry is confirming as favourite for the Swansea City job.
Terry has left his role at Aston Villa - and is now odds-on favourite to fill the managerial vacancy at Swansea City.
Terry, 40, today confirmed his departure from Villa after joining the coaching staff in October 2018.
The ex-England and Chelsea skipper assisted manager Dean Smith in helping the Midlands club reach the Premier League, survive there and then finish comfortably in mid-table last term.
His exit coincides with the uncertainty at Swansea, who are scratching around to find a new manager after seeing their top target, John Eustace, perform a u-turn over the weekend, says the Mirror.
The Championship side last week parted company with Steve Cooper after two seasons in which he led them to successive play-off campaigns.
