Arsenal boss Unai Emery remains keen on Crystal Palace attacker Wilfried Zaha.
But an ex-Arsenal player has expressed his disdain about the possible move.
Paul Mariner believes that the valuation of the Eagles forward is too high for the club to consider making the move.
He said: "They're quite right to ask for this type of money.
"Do I think he's worth it? Absolutely not.
"Would he fit into this Arsenal side? I'm not quite sure.
"I think there are inconsistencies with a player that's going to be costing something like £80m.
"Arsenal doesn't seem to have that type of money to bring him in, hence them looking at other players in those areas."
