Former Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil is buying a Turkish club.
The Fenerbahce star is in talks to buy his first football club, says BILD.
The 33-year-old wants to buy Turkish third division outfit Corum FK. Ozil can buy them outright for €1.3m.
"A world-famous player from Turkey is interested in buying the club," announced Corum President Fatih Özcan a few days ago.
Team captain Umut Kaya explains: “The contact came through Irfan Can Kahveci, who plays with Özil at Fenerbahce and comes from Corum. He called Özcan and asked about the details."
